Formby Captain, Paul McManus was delighted to extend a warm welcome to his fellow 2025 Society Of Liverpool Golf Captains.
On a fantastic weather day, bright sunshine, warm temperatures with a hardly noticeable light breeze, 22 Cobras & the Society Captain Mike Johnson gathered mid morning for bacon rolls and coffee.
The course was in magnificent condition with the greens running particularly quick.
The competition for the day was pairs comp, with additional prizes for nearest the pin on the 16th and a longest drive on the 17th.
The pairings as follows:
Paul McManus & Mike Johnson, Paul McManus & Ronnie Turner

Dave Blake & Martyn Croft

With after round drinks taken on the flag pole patio next to the 18th, a perfect finish to the golf.
